Inspired by scripture, the Church takes its name from Mount Zion, where believers come together in joyful assembly, surrounded by angels and the presence of God Himself. Founded by the visionary Rev. S. S. Mohanty, Church on Mount Zion was born out of a deep desire to serve others through the love and compassion of Jesus Christ. Despite facing challenges and tribulations, this spirit-filled Pentecostal church grew rapidly and within seven years became one of the largest in the city of Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
