  • There are no forced ads which is amazing. The level up difficulty is just enough to keep it interesting. So far so good Update: after completing the next evolution it became so much harder, you would knky get enough food for 1 man then they send out 4, so you kill 1 a game and get 12 coins and can level up once per game and continued every evolution after that. Fun for a week then this bluegh unless you're paying I wouldn't waste the time.

  • Could be a great game. The balance is extremely poor the higher levels you reach. Been playing for several months and I'm at the point where I can't beat the levels without the free food you get from the ads after the daily reset. I've even made purchases but the cards that you buy don't seem to help much. Using different combos of the skills no longer works either. Would be at least 4☆ if they would fix the issue of balance. Sadly they won't. Uninstalled

  • You have to watch ads constantly in order to get a real match with a food boost or decent progress. Hilariously the rate to upgrade your food per second resets to 0 when you upgrade to the next age, and the cost to upgrade is lower than the cost of getting your food per second up to anything meaningful. So there's no point in trying to win with the age you're at, just grind until you're past your opponent. Really disappointing game balance.

  • Could be fun but you start at such a huge disadvantage, that it'll take you forever constantly playing to upgrade to make a dent in the enemy castle on the first map. Upgrades are miniscule at best. Got bored with it in under five minutes, so I can't say if there were ads. Wouldn't surprise me, since underwater basket weaving would feel more productive and accomplished.

  • Nothing like having your troops up line up to die while the opponents get to encircle you. It would be great if the pause button, I don't know, paused the game? Great for a long stay on the throne but not much more. As mentioned in another review, the waves do not change. On one level unused the exact same strategy 7 times before winning. I wish there was a negative rating as this game has more than earned it.

  • Anything more than 3 stars just feels wrong. This game is hit or miss. It reminds me a of the old web browser Age Of War game but not as polished. The events are atrocious. Unless you've played for over 20 hours, there's no use in wasting your time. The only way you can really progress in them is by using the ads to increase your food (you only get 2 ads a day yet you can double your coins after every round , this sounds better than it is). This game does have potential though.
