  • Transaction notifications come days after the transaction but the balance does not change for weeks. The result is that I never know how much I have in my account. also, all in German, no English options. My card was stolen while overseas and to cancel had to phone up support (couldn't find the chat options till I found a stranger and asked them to help me). This was all voice automated and in German. Once I found the chat function, the replies were in German despite me saying I don't speak it.

  • Overall impression is positive. but there's one strange thing. When I am sending payments, the effect on balance is not shown and the payment is not visible anywhere until it is fully processed. So sometimes we had problems with double spending, which you should expect when a few employees have access to the bank app. And some payments (crossborder) take couple days sometimes, and you have to guess or track what is being processed at the moment and how much money is really available this moment.

  • Looks good, lacks basic vital features. References are longer visible in saved transfer templates and the only recent statement available refers to 6 months back. Full usability requires to revert to thr desktop version - welcome back to the early 2000's. A perfectly working and easy to use app has been replaced by a fancy looking app that lacks basic functionalities. A reason to reconsider my account with Commerzbank, which I've been holding for the past 25+ years.

  • After updating to the new version, the application crashes as soon as it shows me the login screen. I have been using the app without any issues since the last two years so the problem surely lies in the latest update dated 12th August 2019. Not sure if I am the only one. Also sent the crash report through the Google crash feedback option. I hope this problem is addressed as I rely on the application for monitoring my account.

  • Added: 2023 Sometimes I'm asked for proof of a transaction. A pdf or screenshot would be handy. The app is much easier than the website. A native English speaker, I get confused over business-specific vocabulary. The website has some pages in English and other pages only in German. But the app lets you choose a language and (mostly) stick to it. PLUS, if you call the help desk through the app, it will tell the customer service associate that you speak English. I've learned to navigate it.

  • Very basic... So many improvement potential but their updates are so slow and feel historical. They need to invest much more in app development. They should also use other bank apps as reference. The reason for 2 stars is the language (English). Cannot even make international transfers through app. Has no "spaces" or saving folders.. Notifications and alerts way off. 99% only good for checking balance and domestic transfers.
