  • Great place to make some extra money! You can select what jobs you're interested in and bid for them. Really good app! It would be cool if they could integrate the scheduled jobs with google calendar (so it would be easier to keep track of jobs) and also the messaging part could use some improvement (show date and time of comment, and the status -sent, seen, unseen, and also to be able to copy a link from it or the post and be able to past it later in a browser).

  • works as advertised. As with all "gig" style apps, use your discretion when selecting what agents you end up dealing with. The messaging part of the app could do with some improvement, as it wasn't "live". I would be messaging information to an agent about task, During which agent sent a message. I would then need to select the notification, which reopens the messaging section, to see the new message, on the same screen as I was originally. if that makes sense.

  • Very poor experience. Worst customer service, hold on to money longer than needed when the tasker goes unresponsive. Never ever posting a task again here. Hi Pages is much better Edit: I'm aware it takes sometime for the amount to reflect in my account. I was referring to the time it takes to convince you to release "my money" back to me when the tasker is unresponsive.

  • Great for side hussles if you have the time and skills to spare, you can earn yourself extra cash. Only catch is Airtasker charges the poster a fee and the assigned tasker a percentage/cut from the offered price. So, technically (majority of the time it's like a decent offer by the poster) the person receiving it won't get that full amount especially when they've done 100% of the work/time. If the % deducted wasn't so big, it'd be okay but it's literally an ad app in which they make profit too.

  • Only the first job I have posted but found a helpful chap to do the work. The only disappointing thing is finding out how much money airtasker take from each job. I knew there would be an arrangement type fee but didn't realise you take 25% of the job fee as well which is a bit greedy. As far as the app goes it seems to work well so far and is easy to use. I won't use again though due to the fee situation, sad really as it's a great idea as its hard to find people to do the smaller jobs.
