  • I like the interface of this app however the GPS consumes a lot of battery power. My cell is almost depleted after 18 and am concerned that I need to bring along a battery pack. Unlike other similar apps which only consume 1/3 of my battery after 18. Reducing the effectiveness of the GPS seemed to create tracking issues and connectivity. If power consumption was not an issue I would have given a better rating. I think I will stay with my current app.

  • It stopped working on my Active 2 golf edition watch. I see similar comments from other Samsung smart watch users that it worked absolutely fine until the July 22 update. It still works on my phone but it stopped communicating with the watch. I hope it gets corrected because it was fairly accurate and useful. UPDATE: developer contacted me with an update to the update and it works again as of 7/30/21

  • It has some decent features but they don't work right. The shot tracking is lousy. I like that I could load my equipment and that the app (supposedly) would track each shot with each club, (in theory). I hit an iron off the tee on a 149yd par 3. It tracked where it landed correctly but showed the shot as only 37yds originating from the fairway, not the tee? 1 of many similar mistakes. Every hole had issues. Doesn't do me any good if it doesn't work.

  • I like the features but the app in unreliable. I have to start every round twice because it freezes the first time, every time. I travel between California and Hawaii. Only California courses show up. Cannot access courses outside the Cal Bay Area. FYI...I have paid for the Pro Version. Submitted a support email. We will see how this is handled. Hope I can get my $$$ back if it can't be fixed. Only use app w/my phone. I do not sync with a watch. NOTE: SUPPORT RESPONDED WITH A FIX FOR COURSE ACCESS IN HOURS. HAD TO UN-RE INSTALL. IT WORKED. PROBLEM WITH APP FREEZING STILL NOT ADDRESSED.

  • I have been using golfshot for years, but ever since the last update it has stopped recognising handicaps properly for me. When I set my handicap to 18 it no longer give me a shot on every hole. As such it won't work out my points correctly. Not sure if this can be fixed or not, but if it cannot be fixed I will no longer be using the app and moving to soemthing else. This is a great shame as I have 3 years of data on my account

  • The App does not always find the course that I am playing on. At least 2-3 times I played here on the East coast recently, the App couldn’t find the course where I was, so I reverted to a free App that I am using as a backup, which found the course right away. DISAPPOINTING. And the course names don’t always match either. I received a Galaxy Classic 4 watch as a gift and was told this App was the best for the watch. I paid for the subscription. I’m underwhelmed. When using the phone, it's OK.
