  • I've read some of the critical reviews of this app. I don't understand them. It has brought a huge amount of pleasure to my life. The curation is amazing. The weekly sampling has opened up new vistas of music for me. I am not an audio connoisseur. I listen to the music on a Bluetooth speaker or headphones. For me, the reproduction value is just fine. I strongly recommend it if you are not a classical music or audio snob.

  • This is a terrific service, but you need to keep working on the app: 1) Please add external SD card support to your downloads. There is no way that I am going to download lossless content if I can't put it on the SD card. 2) Please add a widget. Spotify, Google Play Music, and Pandora all have this and I find it very useful. 3) Please add Android Auto support.

  • Great selection of Classical music, and very good organization and metadata about recordings. Lossless quality codecs. However, their Google casting experience is very poor. Unlike other music services, casting with Idagio gets interrupted with active phone use. Playing music over my Chromecast HiFi setup stops when scrolling through Facebook, instagram, etc if some video/ad starts playing audio, and the track & position gets lost so resuming is hard. I don't want my music to be interrupted!

  • - Lots of repertoire missing (particularly in early music) - no way to sort your library (alphabetically, recently added, downloaded etc) - classical subgenres are available on a very basic level only, once you're in a subgenre you can only display tracks and not whole CDs - no way to favourite artists/genres - downloads are quite buggy, sometimes interrupting without apparent reason. Recently the app keeps refusing to play any freshly downloaded music, claiming there's no internet connection

  • I subscribed from an old phone that's only used for music play back. Then the subscription wasn't properly processed. I was (theoretically) paying for it, but hadn't any of the benefits. Had to go to Google pay to cancel. Before that I noticed that the app wouldn't run on an older German giant Hannspree tablet, which is the main listening terminal with Android 5.1.1. Spotify had worked.

  • Having enjoyed the app despite some hickups, the removal without notice of the lossless streaming option on the premium subscription, after an increase in the cost of the premium plan in Canada (maybe google pay related, but again, no warning that google pay would handle the sub now), leaves a bad taste. Customer service provided no explanation except "lossless is available on premium+". Thanks! Will be cancelling.
