  • This app simply doesn't work at transferring files. When you install it on the target device such as a pixel pro 6, it never prompts you whether this is the old phone or the new phone. It always thinks it's the old phone even though it's the new phone. So you're stuck with no way to transfer data from the old phone to the new phone.

  • Transfer from oneplus 6 to oneplus 10 pro: Pros: + Fast Transfer speed. + Documents and images transferred flawlessly. Cons: - App crashed while transferring "Home screen layout" - Certain apps, notably messaging and banking apps did not work correctly after transfer and had to be reinstalled manually.

  • I backed up my Oneplus 7T with the Oneplus Switch app and now after getting my phone repaired (formatted) from the service center I'm trying to restore the data and it says no backup found. I can't even manually import the contacts file (format not supported). All my important data has been lost. I should have relied on the basic method of manually copying everything to my pc. Such a waste of valuable time and most importantly data. This is really unacceptable from Oneplus.

  • I love the phone, but the backup options are poor. I tries to backup to my PC using the clone phone app but I could not find the [Backup and Restore] button at the bottom of the main page. It would really suck if I have to reset my phone to factory and setup my phone again. The options section only has (About) and (FAQs) options.

  • Transfered data just fine but the app migration is half-baked and you might as well not do it at all. Most all migrated apps from my 6T to my 9 pro were installed as if side-loaded, so they didn't update, and most apps wouldn't open without clearing the app data or sometimes needing to uninstall and reinstall from the app marketplace anyway. Some apps that stayed as old versions eventually stopped working correctly. I should have just installed all apps from the marketplace via Google backup.

  • This was a significant more convenient that the usual method of data transfer a new phone. Restarted once do to me switching over to a message, but got all my info transferred no problem. Appreciate OnePlus and their effort on this app, I am upgrading from my trustworthy OnePlus 3, have had for almost 4 years with minimum issues, to a OnePlus 7T Pro(used, but in very good condition). Will continue to be a patron of OnePlus if they keep it up as they have.
