By using this app you agree to the terms and conditions available on Oveit.com. The app is built natively for the Android operating system and requires an Android 4.4 or later. It works both on smartphones and tablets. To use the application you will need an internet connection.
Using the app
You can login to the app using your Oveit email/password login details. If you can’t remember these details, please use the reset password feature.
Once you have logged in you can view a list of active events that have registered attendees. The list of events are ordered by date, in an ascending order (closer to the present date means it shows up first).
Each event shows the most important data (number of registered users, number of checked in users, date and location).
Electronic tickets come in the form of QR-codes and barcodes. To check in attendees, you have to scan their QR-code tickets. To do that, you will have to first press the icon on the right hand side of the event or the “Check in” button.
Afterwards, a new screen using your mobile device’s camera pops up. Just point the camera towards the ticket, hold for a little while and the app will scan the ticket and give you a response whether the ticket is actually OK for the event or if it’s not, the cause for the error.
If you are using different types of tickets (let’s say Day 1 and Day 2, VIP and Regular Admission), you will notice that the event area has a special button containing the number of active tickets. By tapping that button you will be able to scan different tickets separately, allowing for separate access.
