Lolly Decompression Test
More than 100,000 of my visitors participated in
about the possible faster installations of my repacks. The current results show that majority of you would like to get a faster installers at cost of a small size increase.
OK then, here’s the public test of a new algo (codename ‘Lolly’ – NOT ‘loli’, you pervert!). The testset is pretty big (3.5 GB) and it contains four sample archives: one of them was made with my current algo and the other three were made with ‘Lolly’ with different compression options.
The point of this test is to gather information about decompression speed on different systems. If you want to participate, please follow the instructions below:
- Download the following RARs (if you’re planning to whine about small RARs and still can’t use JDownloader2 – please leave, you’re too noob for this test):

- Make sure you don’t have any heavy CPU processes active – browsers included
- Run four setups one after another and install each of them to the same folder
- If you encounter dummy.arc error, just press “Ignore” or “Skip” button
- After last installation open ‘time-log.txt’ in any text editor and copy/paste your results in comments to this topic along with your system specs. Please provide your CPU name, your physical RAM amount, your OS type and bitness and the type of disk you were installing testsets to (SSD or HDD).
