A player’s Nintendo Switch friends list is managed through their Nintendo account. To add friends on Nintendo Switch, open the Home menu and select the User icon in the upper–left corner. Select Profile then selects the Friends option.
From the Friends menu, select the Add Friend option. Enter the Nintendo account information for the friend you wish to add, then select the Send Invite option. The friend you’ve added will appear in the Pending Invites section of the Friends menu. Once they’ve accepted your invite, they’ll appear in the Confirmed section.
You can also add friends by exchanging 12–digit Friend Codes. To do this, select the Add Friend by Friend Code option from the Friends menu.
