District Direct is a convenient mobile application that can be downloaded to your mobile phone and used to apply for public benefits available in the District of Columbia.
With District Direct you will be able to:
• Apply for food, cash, and medical benefits.
• Recertify and renew benefits before they expire and receive reminders about upcoming due dates on your mobile device.
• Update personal information and changes of circumstance including: address, contact information (phone number and email address), members of your household, expenses, and income or assets.
• Upload and submit required documents supporting a new application for benefits, recertify current benefits, and update personal information or change of circumstance. Users may view all uploaded documents in the District Direct mobile app.
• Receive, view, and download notices associated with your benefits.
